Oregano, Ground

Oregano’s flavor is strong and aromatic, with an assertive, pleasantly bitter undertone. Its flavor is similar to Marjoram, and in fact, the word “Oregano” is Spanish for Marjoram. It is the spice that made pizza famous and is equally good with any tomato-type dish.
